Channel 4 logo.

This is the channel 4 logo which I will be using for my Soap trailer. What I propose to do, is use Adobe Photoshop to cut away the black area's of the 4, so then the white sits over my film. This will then leave the film playing behind the white layer, where the black would of been. Hollyoaks also has this effect, so I would like to achieve something very similar. 

Location/Filming Shots.

This is a location shot of where we propose to shoot a scene of the character, Laura, pregnant. It is a ladies toilet in our sixth form college - our idea is to capture a shot of the pregant girl, reflecting off the tiolet mirror.

This is a still we have taken of Laura looking at her scan pictures, we feel this would be an effective shot, to tell the story of her pregancy.



Here is a shot of Laura standing in the toilet, however not through the reflection of the mirror. We feel the bump and the baby scans are very effective for telling her story.

Soap Trailer - First Draft.

This is the first draft of my media film. From here I will be using questionaires and feedback, to note where I am to make changes to the film.

I am currently pleased with the order of scenes and use of shots, also I feel the music works well for our chosen target audience. However the length of each shot, and the amount of crossfades I have used needs to be altered.

Bullying Scene - Idea Development.

I  have found inspiration in this video, because it shows a young person (which fits our target audience) being bullied, we will use the idea of him walking and being followed, it can then be put into out soap trailer. 

The theme of bullying is a popular one among children and young adults in general, so we feel it is an important storyline to convey.
